MEET CECE, OUR DIRECTOR OF QWIKI LOVE

Hello there!

CeCe here, your new Director of Qwiki Love! Now don’t worry, Erica, our fantastic User Love Intern, is taking a brief hiatus in London but will be back in the summer. So for now, I have the pleasure of tweeting with everyone and if you have questions/concerns/jokes/(chocolates), send them all to me!

I am thrilled to be joining the Qwiki team – 2011 marks the first year of the Qwiki decade with big things to come and I get the best job on earth: making sure the world spotlight stays brightly on Qwiki.

A little about me: I was born in Shanghai, raised in St. Louis, graduated Princeton Class of 2008 (where I dabbled in Politics and learned un peu de francais), had a brief stint in finance before hopping down to Buenos Aires to clear my head of that foolishness, returned to the States and quickly switched to a career in public relations, first for my Missouri Senator and then for a large PR agency in New York, all bringing me to the exciting climax and hereafter life mission of spreading Qwiki love and news to you and yours truly! Whew, breather.

After spending the past 6 years of my life traversing the east coast, I’m excited to explore the ins and outs (with frequent visits to IN-N-OUT) of Palo Alto and San Francisco. Although I will admit that I was fully in love with New York City and absolutely nothing short of becoming Director of Qwiki Love could have enticed me to leave my shoe-box apartment in the Lower East Side. But now that I’ve put my big winter coat in storage and finally live next to a beautiful body of water, I’m ready to let the California air and Silicon Valley energy invigorate/intoxicate/seduce me.
